Sunday School Promotion Sunday was held on May 23rd, the kids all cheered loudly as each name was read – it was really cute! Summer Sunday school will begin on June 6th. If you would like to be a part of the summer teaching team, we would love to have you!
Vacation Bible School will be June 14–June 18 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at CCC. Thanks to those of you who have volunteered your time or are donating items, VBS couldn’t be done without you! The theme this year will be High Seas Expedition, Exploring the Mighty Love of God! If you are interested in helping with decorations, we will be making lots of fun stuff on June 2 from 9:00-12:30, June 5 from 10:00 to 1:00 and June 9 from 9:00-12:30 at the Gretna United Methodist Church. Also, we will need all hands on deck June 12 starting at 9:00 a.m. to help set up for VBS – it will be ocean’s of FUN!
If you are creative, have great ideas and love kids, we need you on the Children’s Ministry Team! This team will meet regularly to discuss ideas, plan events and take our Children’s Ministry to the next level. If you are interested in serving on the Children’s Ministry Team or have any ideas, please give me a call.
