Welcome to 45 Club

Where Fun Meets Faith

What is 45 Club?

At Community Covenant Church, we believe that every child deserves a place where they can be themselves, make great friends, and discover how much God loves them. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the 45 Club—a brand-new ministry just for 4th and 5th grade students! Once a month, your student will have the chance to dive into an adventure filled with games, laughter, and meaningful conversations about faith.

Why 45 Club?

4th and 5th grade is such a special time in your student’s life—full of curiosity, energy, and growth. At 45 Club, we want to harness all that enthusiasm and channel it into both fun activities and spiritual discovery. Our goal is to help your student see that they are deeply loved by God, that they have a purpose, and that they are part of a community that cares for them. Each gathering will be a mix of high-energy games, thoughtful discussions, and creative ways to explore who God is and what it means to follow Jesus.

What to Expect

  • Fun & Games: From wild relays to creative challenges, every 45 Club meeting is packed with fun activities that will get your student moving and laughing.
  • Building Friendships: This is a great opportunity for your student to meet new friends and strengthen existing ones, all in a positive, supportive environment. It’s always more fun with friends – so invite them along, too!
  • Faith Discovery: Through engaging stories, interactive lessons, and worship, we’ll help your student discover that they are seen, known, and loved by God.

Have more questions?

Check out the FAQ’s below!

Are leaders and volunteers background checked?

At 45 Club, we put a high priority on the safety of kids on our campus. We value taking steps to ensure safety by running background checks on all volunteers that are working with students 18 and under.

Does my student (or do I) have to be a Christian to attend?

At 45 Club, we are seeking to create an environment where students feel comfortable bringing their friends whether they consider themselves a Christian or not. It is our hope that we will be able to help your student’s faith develop no matter where they are in their own personal spiritual journey.

What will you be teaching my student?

We love Jesus! So, everything we teach will be age appropriate and taught from the Bible. We will cover topics such as faith, honesty, friendship, forgiveness, and value.

How will my student get from Ackerman Elementary to Community Covenant?

Since Ackerman Elementary is a neighbor to Community Covenant, we are able to provide students the option to walk to the church with background checked adults. Students will meet the adults at the front of the school near the outdoor classroom. The adults will then walk the students to Community Covenant. A parent or guardian is also welcome to transport their student from Ackerman to Community Covenant. Parents are responsible for informing Ackerman Elementary, that their student(s) will be attending 45 Club each day it is hosted.

My student doesn’t attend Ackerman Elementary. Can he/she still attend 45 Club?

Absolutely! While we aren’t able to provide transportation for students who attend other schools or are homeschooled, they are more than welcome to attend 45 Club.

Is registration required for a student to attend 45 Club?

Yes. For the safety of all the students who attend 45 Club, registration by a parent or legal guardian is required. Students can be registered in advance, or they can be registered the day of 45 Club if a parent or guardian is present. For liability and to help assure parents and that a student has permission to attend 45 Club, students who are not registered will not be permitted to walk over to Community Covenant Church with the rest of the group.

Does my student need to check in when they arrive?

When students arrive for 45 Club, we ask that they stop by the Welcome table to check in. Checking in helps us care for each student in a number of ways. It helps the adult leaders know who is present at 45 Club and provides them with the most up-to-date contact information for safety and communication purposes.

Is there a cost to participate in 45 Club?

There is no cost to participate in 45 Club. We’re excited to host this exciting new opportunity, and through the generous giving of those who consider Community Covenant their church home, this monthly event is completely free.

What if my student has food or other allergies?

At all 45 Club gatherings, we do our best to ensure that each student’s physical needs are safely met. If your student has allergies of any kind, please let us know when you complete the registration form. Please also note if they have an epi-pen.

I have a question about 45 Club that hasn’t been answered. Who do I contact?

If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Co-Lead Pastor, Jael Boeschling.
