Summer in the Psalms – Week 5 Day 5
WEEK 5 // DAY 5
HIS STEADFAST LOVE ENDURES FOREVER
“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever…” – Psalm 100:5
Psalm 100 ends with a crescendo of character. Why do we worship? Why do we give thanks? Because God is good. His love doesn’t fade, doesn’t run out, doesn’t change. His faithfulness endures through every generation.
This isn’t a sentimental ending—it’s the heartbeat of biblical worship. God’s goodness is not just a trait; it’s a promise. He’s not just loving; His love is steadfast—unchanging, immovable, eternal. That means you can worship even when life is shaky, because His love is not.
Jesus is the living embodiment of this verse. He is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). When you look at Jesus, you see God’s enduring love in action—feeding, healing, forgiving, dying, rising. Because of Him, we know the Lord is good.
