Here's the scoop on the position!
Community Covenant Church (Omaha, Nebraska) is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor to lead middle school and high school students in becoming disciples of Jesus who love God, love people, and make disciples. CCC is an intergenerational church that values collaboration between ministry areas and prioritizes teamwork among its staff. This position focuses on shepherding students, equipping families, and developing leaders to impact the next generation.
As the Youth Pastor, you will serve in three critical roles: pastor, engager, and developer.
As a pastor, you will build strong relationships with students, families, and volunteers, helping them grow in their relationships with Jesus and others. You will also lead students through key transitions (e.g. middle school to high school) and communicate God’s Word effectively for a lifetime of discipleship.
As an engager, you will intentionally engage with students far from God, model personal evangelism, and foster a welcoming environment for students to explore and journey with Christ.
As a developer, you help equip parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their students, and train volunteers to lead effectively; and you will develop and empower future leaders to expand ministry impact.
To be considered for this position, you should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, a clear calling to student ministry and a commitment to personal spiritual growth, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with students and families.
