Love Unending – Week 7 Day 3

WEEK 7 // DAY 3
THE LOVE THAT MEETS YOU THERE
Read Hosea 14
This is where the weight of repentance meets the wonder of grace. God does not respond to returning people with hesitation—He responds with healing and love.
“I will heal their waywardness.”
Your wandering leaves marks. It shapes patterns, habits, and ways of thinking that don’t easily disappear. But God does not simply forgive and move on—He restores. He moves toward the broken places and begins to make them whole.
And then He says something that prepares your heart for Easter:
“I will love them freely.”
Freely means without earning. Without condition. Without waiting for you to prove yourself.
This is what the cross reveals in full. Jesus does not die for a cleaned-up version of you. He dies for you as you are. The cross is not God meeting you halfway—it is God coming all the way to you.
But here is where this becomes deeply personal.
Many people struggle not with believing they are forgiven—but with believing they are loved.
You may believe God accepts you, but still feel like you have to earn His delight.
The call of God in Hosea 14 dismantles that. God’s love is not a reluctant response to your return—it is the reason He calls you back in the first place. As you approach Easter, this is what you are preparing to see: A Savior who does not tolerate you—but loves you. Fully. Freely. Completely. Let that truth settle into your heart.
