Semi-Annual Meeting/November Vision Gathering
Mark your calendars and join us for delectable desserts and the Semi-Annual Meeting/November Vision Gathering on November 17th at 6:30pm.  Together, we’ll celebrate God’s faithfulness, hear a recap from the Boeschling’s time at the Church Planter Training Intensive, and an update on the budget!  You will not want to miss this!  Childcare will be provided – RSVP here!
If you haven’t had a chance to fill out the ‘What’s My Role’ assessment, we greatly value you taking the time to do so!   You’ll find the digital form here: (If you prefer a paper copy, please let Pastor Marty or Pastor Jael know!)

CCC Women’s Events
All women are invited to gather for two upcoming events!  Join us for Taco Tuesday at 6:30pm on November 12th at DJ’s Dugout (17666 Welch Plaza) or for an informal breakfast at Panera (17730 W. Center Rd.) on Monday, November 18th from 8:30-10:00am.  For more information about either of these events, please contact Chris McIvor (402-630-7928).

Happy Birthday, CCC!
Happy Birthday, Community Covenant Church! Thirty-two years of grace, love, and being a witness to God’s work in Omaha and beyond. From the beginnings inside Ackerman Elementary, God has had great plans to share the message of hope and freedom found in Jesus Christ through each man, woman, and child of CCC. We are so thrilled to for YOU to be a part of the journey for this next year ahead – year #33!

Operation Christmas Child
Join us in assembling a box to send to a boy or girl across the globe through Operation Christmas Child!  These simple boxes are sometimes the only gift these children will receive at Christmas, and are used to share the love of Christ with children in poverty-stricken areas.  Empty boxes and instructions will be available in the Narthex on Sunday mornings.
We invite you to assemble a box (or two!) and return them to the church anytime between now and November 17th!

Thanksgiving Eve Service
Join Community Covenant, First Covenant, and Celebration Covenant churches for a combined Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday, November 27th, at 7:00pm at First Covenant Church (201 N 90th St.).  Stick around following the service for pie!

Thanksgiving Plans
Thanksgiving is just around the corner!  If you will be without a place to celebrate on Thanksgiving Day and would like an invite to lunch/dinner with a family from Community, we’d love to be your matchmaker!  Sign up online at

 Donut Update!
We desire for the donut holes to be part of our hospitality to guests and regular attenders alike!  Donut holes will now be available at the coffee bar prior to our Sunday morning worship service (10:15a).  Though a cupful of donut holes may be calling your name, please resist the urge to take more than one or two so that everyone can partake in the frosted deliciousness!
